Hey Friend ☺

☆ PROFIT AND LOSS ☆

Given

Selling price ( S.P ) = Rs 6300

Profit ( p % ) = 5 %

To Find

The selling price of phone to get 12% profit

Solution

Total profit = 6300 × 5/100

= 63 × 5

= Rs 315

Cost price = Selling price - profit

= 6300 - 315

= Rs 5985

Selling price = cost price /100 × ( 100 + profit percent )

= 5985/100 × 112

= Rs 6703.2

So the cellular phone should be sold for Rs 6703.2 to make a profit of 12%

Hope it helps you ..!!

Hey!!!
_____________________________
●SP=Rs.6300
Gain%=5%
So,CP=100+5/100×Rs.6300=Rs.6615
If Gain%=12%
Then,SP=100/100+12×Rs.6615=Rs.7517.04

Hope it helps!!! :)
