Dear Student:

A rational number is a number which can be expressed as a quotient or fraction of two integers (p/q).

multiplied by 3/2  and subtract from 5/12

5/12-3/2*p/q=-6/7

-3/2*p/q     = -107/84

      p/q     = 107/84*2/3

      p/q      = 107/126

Hence,p/q=107/126.

Hope it helps

Thanks
