The angle of refraction if the refractive index of glass is 1.6 is 26 degree.

Explanation:

We know that,

        n = \frac{Sin (i)}{Sin (r)}

where,   n = refractive index of glass

             (i) = angle of incidence

             (r) = angle of refraction

Putting the given values into the above formula as follows.

       n = \frac{Sin (i)}{Sin (r)}

      1.6 = \frac{Sin (45)}{Sin (r)}

     Sin (r) = \sqrt{\frac{1}{2}} \times \frac{1}{1.6}

     Sin (r) = 0.43

or,     r = 26 degree
