A rectangle park has a diagonal path.The length of the park is 12m and its width is 5m.Which route is shorter and by how much?

AC= Diagonal =√l²+b² = √12²+5² =√169 = 13 m
Distance A to C via D = 12 + 5 = 17 m
Difference= 17-13 = 4m
Therefore ,
Diagonal path is shorter by 4m
