a rectangluar field is 280m lond and 100 m wide.rwo cross road one parallel the length of the feild the other parallel to the breath of the field are constructed at the centre of the feild .if each of the road are 12m broad.
find the following=
a) area of cross road
b) area of remaining feild

Total area of cross road= area of road parallel to length + area of road parallel to breadth= 12*280+12*100= 4560m2

Area of remaining field= Total area of the field - area of cross road.
                                    = 28000-4560=23440m2.
