SOLUTION :

The area of the rectangular garden = 13800 m sq.

The length of the rectangular garden = 230 m

To be found :-

The breadth (width) of the rectangular garden

The formula of area of rectangle = lb unit sq.

[ ∴ in which l is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle ]

Area of the rectangular garden = 13800 m sq.

⇒ lb = 13800

⇒ 230 × b = 13800

⇒ b = 13800 ÷ 230

⇒ b = 60

Hence,

The breadth (width) of  the rectangular garden is 60 m
