Given length of the hall, l = 25 m
Hence l × b = 250
⇒ 25 × b =
250
∴ b = 10 m
Volume allowed per candidate = 4 cu m
Volume allowed for 500 candidates = 500 × 4 = 2000 cu m
Volume of hall = l × b × h
2000 = 25 × 10 × h
∴
h = 8 m
