Here, First Side = 5(y-1) = 5y-5
Second Side = 3(2y-5) = 6y-15
Third Side = 9y
We know that the sum of the all angles of a triangle = 180degree
Acc. To Question,
(5y - 5) + (6y - 15) + (9y) = 180degree
5y +6y + 9y - 5 - 15 = 180degree
20y - 20 = 180degree
20y = 180 + 20
20y = 200
y = 200/20
y = 10
