A rectangular frame has a length of 48 centimeters and a breadth of 32 centimeters.What is the ratio of its length to its breadth to its perimeter?

Solution.

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(L+B)

= 2(48+32)

= 2* 80

= 160

Ratio of length to its breadth= 48/32= 6/4= 3/2
hence 3:2

Ration of length to its breadth= 48/160= 6/20= 3/10
hence 3:10
