A rectangular glass tank is half filled with water. The measurements of the tank are height 30cm, breadth of 25 cm and 20 cm , by how much in terms of centimetres , will the water rise if a solid cylindrical piece of iron , with a diameter of 6 cm and a length of 10 cm , is dropped into the water?

volume of rectangular glass tank =30×25×20=15000cm³.
and the rectangular tank is half filled of water so, V/2=15000/2=7500.
then, volume of cylindrical piece of iron =πr²h
d=6,r=d/2=3, h=10
22/7×(3)²×1=282.85cm³
then volume of rectangular tank filled with water + volume of cylindrical piece of iron , 7500+282.85=7782.85
