area of Path = area with path - area of ractangle= L×B-l×b = 44×29- 40×25 = 1276- 1000= 276 m²
so the cost of leveling= 276×8.25= ₹2415


(L= 25+2+2= 44 B= 25+2+2= 29 because ractangle is surrounded by 2 my path)

breath of rectangular grassy lawn = 25m
area of rectangular grassy lawn = 40 *25m
= 1,000sqm

length of rectangular grassy lawn without path
= 40-(2+2)
= 38m

breadth of rectangular grassy lawn without path = 25-(2+2)
= 21m

area of rectangular grassy lawn without path
= 38*21m
= 798sqm

so, area of path = area of rectangular grassy lawn - area of rectangular grassy lawn without path

= 1,000sqm - 798sqm
= 202aqm is the area of path

so, rate of levelling the path at = Rs 8.25 per SQM

cost of levelling 202sqm = 202*8.25
= Rs 1,666.5
