16(2/3)% = 50/3% = 50/300 = 1/6
here 1 = loss
6 = c.p.
1 = 10
6 = 6×10 = 60
c.p. = 60
hope it helps

Let the Cost Price be Rs a
Loss percent = Loss × 100 / CP
=> 16 2/3 = 10 × 100 / a
=> 50/3 = 1000a
=> a = 1000 × 3 / 50
=> a = 20 × 3
=> a = 60
Cost Price = Rs 60
Loss percent = Loss × 100 / CP
=> 16 2/3 = 10 × 100 / a
=> 50/3 = 1000a
=> a = 1000 × 3 / 50
=> a = 20 × 3
=> a = 60
Cost Price = Rs 60
