A rectangular object of mass 6 kg is taken to a height of 20 m from the ground.
Calculate the potential energy gained by this object. Take g = 10 m/s?.
Show three different paths through which the object can be taken to this height. Also
calculate the potential energy for all these three paths and write your conclusion

Answer:

potential energy : u

u= mgh

m: mass

g:gravity of planet

h:height from the surface. ( it means that what ever be the path we choose to reach that height we count only how much height an object gain not distance)

hence

m= 6kg

h=20m

g=10m/s

u=mgh

u= 6×20×10

u=1200j
