breadth of rectangle field = 0.5 km

Perimeter of rectangle field

= 2[l+b]=2[0.7+0.5]

Perimeter of field = 1.2×2=2.4km

length of filed fencing = 4P=4×2.4

length of fence = 9.6km✔

∴ length of wire needed is 9.6 km.
