the path? The authorities want install a circular fountain in the park. If the radius of the
fountain is 7 m, find its area and the area of the remaining park. What is the cost of

Answer:

Solution :

Area of park=L×B where L and B are length and breadth of park.

=>L×B=45×30=1350(m)2

area of bigger rectangle including path=>L2×B2=(45+2.5)(30+2.5)

=>47.5×32.5=1543.75(m)2

area of path=1543.75−1350=193.75(m)2
