A ribbon is 3 m long. I need 8pieaces of ribbon each 40cm long. How many cm shorter is the ribbon than the length i need

3m=300cm
Length of the ribbons needed=40*8=240cm
Diff=300-240=60cm

so the ribbon is 300cm long
