For this u might use pythagorous theoram

Hypotenuse square is equal to perpendicular square plus base square

So hypotenuse will be equal to 13 square +12 square

After solving that u will reach a point where hypotenuse square will be equal to 25

The square sends to other side changes into square root of 25 which is 5

So finally hypotenuse is equal to 5 cm
