Heya Angel ...
For a moment.. just think that every hour a 40m wide 3m deep 2km long cuboidal storage tank fills up the water √√
Volume of Storage = 40m * 3m * ( 2km )
= ( 40 * 3 * 2000 ) cu. m
= 240000 cu. m
=> 2.4 * 10^5 cubic m Water flows into the So-Called Storage per hour
√√ Here, Storage was eventually a sea ....
However, this implies that -->
--> ( 24 * 10^4 ) / 60 [ since 1 hour = 60 min ]
= 4000 cu. m water flows into sea per minute
Hope this helps ^_^
