Dimensions of the room :

l = 5m
b = 4m
h = 3m

Area of the floor = l×b = (5×4) m² = 20m²

cost of marbling the floor = 200/m²

→ cost of marbling 20m² of floor = ₹(20×200)
= ₹4000

TSA of the room = 2(lb+bh+hl)
→ 2 (5×4+4×3+5×3)
→ 2(20+12+15)
→ 2(47)
→ 94 m²

Removing the area of floor since it isn't to be painted - (94-20) = 74 m²

Area to be painted = 74 m²

Cost of painting = ₹50/m²

Cost of painting 74 m² = ₹(74×50)
= ₹3700

Answer : Cost of marbling the floor = ₹4000, Cost of painting the walls and ceiling = ₹3700.

Answer:

Length = 5m

Breadth = 4m

Height = 3m

Volume  \: of  \: cuboid = 2(l +b)h

 = 2(5 + 4)3 \\

 = 2(9)3

 = 18 \times 3

 = 54 \: m {}^{3}

Find the cost of marbling the floor at the rate of rs 200 per sq m

 = 54 \times 200

 = 10800

the cost of marbling the floor at the rate of rs 200 per sq m is 10800.

Find the painting the walls and ceilings at the rate of rs 50 per sq m

 = 54 \times 50

 = 2700

the painting the walls and ceilings at the rate of rs 50 per sq m is 2700.
