Solution:-
Length of the saree = 5 m = 500 cm
Breadth of the saree = 1.3 m = 130 cm
Area of the saree = 500 × 130 
Area of the saree = 65000
Width of the border = 25 cm
Length of the saree excluding border = 500 - (25 + 25) 
= 500 - 50 
= 450 cm
Breadth of the saree excluding border = 130 - (25 + 25)
= 130 - 50
= 80 cm
Area of the saree excluding border = 450 × 80
Area of the saree excluding border = 36000 sq cm
Area of the border = Area of the saree - area of the saree excluding border
= 65000 - 36000
Area of the border = 29000 sq cm
Now, cost of printing the border = Rs. 1 per 100 sq cm
Total cost of printing = (29000*1) /100
Total cost of printing the border = Rs. 290
