Expenses are

40% - House

25% - Food

20% - Other Expenses

Now, total Expenses = 40% + 25% + 20% = 85% of his income

here, Total Income = 100%

Total income - Total Expenditure = Savings

100% - 85 % = 15 %

since, Savings = 7200

15% = 7200

we have to find Total Income

100% = Total Income

15% = 7200

by cross Multiplication method

Total Income = 100*7200/15 = 48,000
