Answer:

x=700 and y=1700

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us take money A has =x

Let us take money B has=y

Case 1:-

x +900=2(y-900)

x +900=2y - 1800

x- 2y =-2700...............................(1)

Case 2:-

y+100=3(x-100)

y+100=3x-300

y- 3x =-400..........................(2)

Multiplying(2) with 2 on both sides

2y-6x=-800

Using Elimination method :-\

  x -  2y  = - 2700

-6x + 2y  = - 800

- 5x  + 0  =  - 3500

-5x = -3500

x= 700

substituting x in (2) we get,

y- 2100=-400

y=1700

Answer:

A has money 700 and B has 1700

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A has take money be x

And B has take money be y

According to the the first condition of the questions is

x+900=2(y-900)

x+900=2y-1800

x-2y=-2700............1

According to the second condition of the question is

y+100=3(x-100)

y+100=3x-300

y-3x=-400............2

On multiply equation ( 2 )with 2 on both side

2y-6x=-800

By using elimination method

x-2y=-2700

-6x+2y=-800

-5x+0=-3500

-5x=-3500

x=700

By putting the value of x in equation (2)

y-2100=-400

y=1700
