Answer:

60 % of 2800 is

 \frac{2800 \times 60}{100} = 1680

so no of boys is 1680

then no of girls is

then no of girls is

2800 - 1680 = 1120

now 1680-1120= 560

so 560 girls are less than the no of boys

Answer:

40% or 1120

boys are 60%

(60/100)×2800=1680

so number of girls left

100%-60%=40%

so (40)/100)×2800=1120

OR

TOTAL STUDENT-BOYS =GIRLS

2800-1680=1120
