Secularism is a belief that the religion would not play role in government. All religions will be treated equally under a secular state. Religion don't have any relation with working of government and under secularism all can practice their religion. So indirectly a secular state does can't take a religion of its own so it does not promote any religion.

BY THE WORD SECULAR WE CAN SAY THAT SECULAR STATE DOESNT PROMOTE ANY ONE RELIGION AS SECULAR STATE IS A STATE WHICH DOESNT SHOWS PARTIALITY TO ANY ONE RELIGION.IN A SECULAR STATE ALL RELIGIONS ARE CONSIDERED AS EQUAL/ONE.SO SECULAR STATE DOESNT PROMOTE ANYONE RELIGION AS HIGHER/ETC. AND THIS DOESNT HAVE TO DO ANY WORK WITH THE GOVT. AND GOVT WONT BE RESPONSIBLE IN ANY RELIGIOUS MATTERS........

HOPE THIS HELPS.PLS MRK  AS BRAINLIEST..
