1/R1+1/R2+1/R3+.....1/Rn=y

n/R=Y  -------2

from 1 and 2,

n=X/R AND N=RY

EQUATING THE 2 EQUATIONS

X/R=R/Y

this implies.

R*R=XY

SO, R=\sqrt{xy}
