total table and chairs bought= 15 +20= 35
total cost price= 35× 300 + 40
= 10500 + 40
= 10540
each table and chair sold at price of 380
selling price= 35×380
=13300
selling price> cost price
Gain= selling price- cost price
= 13300- 10540
=2760
