The cost price for 1 Kg sugar is = ₹60
The cost price for 20 kg sugar is = ₹60*20= ₹1200
The selling price for 5kg sugar is = ₹72*5= ₹360
The selling price for 8 kg sugar is = ₹70*8=₹560
The remaining sugar is= 20-5-8= 7Kgs
The selling price of remaining sugar is = ₹55*7= ₹385
Total selling price for the 20kg sugar = 360+560+385= ₹1305.
Profit made= Cost price- Selling price= ₹1305-₹1200= ₹105
Profit percent = (Profit/Cost price)*100
= (105/1200)*100
= 8.75% is the Profit percentage.
Hope this helps.
