Answer:

Given, percent profit =16%, C.P. =2400

Their are 80 articles.

Profit = CP × % profit

=2,400×

100

16

=384

So, SP = CP+ profit

=2,400+384=2784

SP of one article =

80

2784

= Rs. 34.80

A shopkeeper profit  is 11.11%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A shopkeeper buys some no. of articles of at  a rate of 2 articles for rs.3.

Purchased some other articles at a rate of 4 articles of Rs. 3.

Sold all articles at a rate of 4 articles of rs. 5.

To Find:

A shopkeeper profit or loss percent.

Solution:

Let the shopkeeper  buys  p articles  of both type articles.

As given, a shopkeeper buys some no. of articles of at  a rate of 2 articles for rs.3.

Price of  2 articles= Rs.3

Price of 1 article =  Rs.1.5

Price of particle =1.5 p.

As given, purchased some other articles at a rate of 4 articles of Rs. 3.

Price of  4 articles= Rs.3

Price of 1 article =  Rs.0.75

Price of particle =0.75 p.

Total Cost Price  =1.5p+0.75p =2.25p

Total Selling Price of 2p article  =(2p)(1.25)

                                                     =2.5p

 Profit  = 2.5p-2.25p

             =0.25p

% Profit  =\frac{0.25p}{2.25p} \times100

               =11.11 \%

Thus, a shopkeeper profit  is 11.11%.
