It is given that cost of each dress is 440 and he is selling it by an offer of buy 1 get 1 free
In other words we can also say that he is selling 2 dress for 440
Then.. S. P of 1 dress=440/2=220
Profit on 2 dress=440*10/100=44
Then, profit on 1 dress is = 44/2=22
We know that... C. P. =S. P. - profit
=220-22=198
Thus the cost price of one dress is 198
