Step-by-step explanation:

the shop keeper purchase books=50

per 1 book cost 35/-

50 books cost=50*35=1750

he do copies at the rate 33

total books=35

33*35=1255

then he got loss

the loss amount=1750-1255=495

he got loss=495

Answer:

the c.p of 1 notebook=₹35

so c.p of 35 notebook=₹35×35

c.p=₹1225

s.p of 1 notebook=₹33

s.p of 35 notebook=₹33×35

s.p=1155

loss=c.p-s.p

loss=1225-1155

loss=₹70

loss percent =loss×100÷c.p

=70×100÷1225

=5.71%

loss percent =5.71%
