A shopkeeper sold an article for rs.17490 with a discount of 8% and gained 19.6%. if no discount is allowed, what will be his gain percent?

SP = 17490/-

Discount = 8 %

So

MP = ( 108 × 17490) / 5

MP = 18889.20/-


So CP = ( 100 - 19.6 ) % of 17490

= ( 80.4 × 17490 ) / 100

CP = 14061.96/-


Profit without Discount = 4827.24/-

Profit = ( 4827.24 × 100 ) / 18889.20


Profit = 34.33 %
