yaaser arafat was the leader of the palestine liberation organization.in fact he was one of the founding fathers of this organization.he spend his whole life promoting this organization and its cause.eventually he became the spokes man for muslim of palestine who had fight against the jwes on 15 november 1988.yasser arafat declared the new state of palestine comprising the west Bank AND THE GAZA STRIP.THE NEW STATE OF PALESTINE WAS IMMEDIATELY RECOGNISED BY 80 COUNTRIES. THE CREDIT OF ESTABLishing NEW STATE OF PALESTINE GOES TO YASSER ARAFAT .AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF CONFLICT WITH ISRAEL YASSER ARAFAT ON THE BEHALF OF THE PALESTINE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL ON 13 MAY 1994.RESORTING PEACE AND STABILITY IN THE COUNTRY .YASSER ARAFAT IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE GREATEST LEADER OF THE MUSLIM WORLD.BUT UNFORTUNATELY HE DIED IN 2004
