The non cooperation movement was started by Mahatma Gandhi in the year 1920 and it was withdrawn in the year 1922 because in the month of February some people associated with non cooperation movement burnt a police station in chaura chauri and all the policemen in it were died... Gandhi ji saw that the movement was turning violent so the withdrawal this movement.
