Morning assembly is very important ritual of a school. It is also age old culture of our country. Every new work starts with prayers to our gods. So it happens in school too. Schools are like our temples. Morning assembly is a time of peace and quiet. Students stand in rows on assembly ground. They say prayers before starting day’s work. The scene is very calm and peaceful. All students stand in rows in school uniforms. Importance information is also given to the students like good thought, national and international news, sports news regularly. Great personalities, amazing facts and quiz are also presented weekly in our school. Sometimes, our Principal Sir addresses us to give important instructions.

After reaching school, everyone went to class and settled down at their respective places. Usually, we talked and played around a bit before the bell for assembly was rung. The assembly bell meant that everyone should make a proper line while coming out of their respective classrooms and should come to the field outside and stands in absolute silence as the teachers and the principals gathered up. While going for the assembly, the class monitors would check the uniform, nails and haircut of the students and any unkempt hair or unpolished shoes would entail that person not being able to take part in the assembly.
