Respected Teachers, Principal and all my school mates A very happy independence Day to all of you. Independence Day is celebrate every year on 15th August all over the India. In every school and College a program is arranged to celebrate this day. On this day all the citizens of India take pledge to protect our mother land. Thank you and wish you a very happy independence Day again.

आदरणीय शिक्षक, प्रधानाचार्य और मेरे सभी स्कूल के साथी आप सभी को एक बहुत ही स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ देते हैं। पूरे भारत में हर साल 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया जाता है। हर स्कूल और कॉलेज में इस दिन को मनाने के लिए एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जाता है। इस दिन भारत के सभी नागरिक हमारी मातृ भूमि की रक्षा करने का संकल्प लेते हैं। धन्यवाद और आप फिर से एक बहुत खुश स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं।

Respected teacher and my dear friends.. A very Good morning to one and all. Today I am going to speak about Independence day.

Independence day is an important day in India. It is celebrated on 15th August every year.  On this day, in 1947, India became independent from the British rule. Everywhere the national flag is hoisted and the national anthem is sung. The Prime Minister hoists the National flag at Red fort in Delhi. He then delivers his speech to the citizens of India. He also pays tribute to the Leaders of the freedom struggle. The great leaders sacrificed their life for us during the freedom struggle. These great leaders include Mahatma Gandhi, Bhaghat Singh etc. This year we celebrate our 74th Independence day in India. This day is a National holiday in India.
