A signal is beamed in space from earth. It reflects from a space probe revolving around earth.Its echo is recorded after 2.56 s. the speed of the signal in air is 3 × 10^8 m/s. what is the average radius of the orbit of the probe?

Given-
Speed in air = 3 x10^8 m/s
Time = 2.56 secs
To find - average radius of the orbit of the probe
Solution-
Velocity = distance/time
3*10^8 = d/2.56
Distance = 3 x 10^8 x 2.56
               = 7.68 x 10^8
Average = 3.84 x 10^8
