After 3 round of DNA replication 8 ds DNA molecules formed from a single ds DNA and among them 6 molecules of ds DNA does not carry any part of original template.

Explanation:

  • After first round of DNA replication, 2 DNA molecules formed, Each carrying one original template and one newly synthesized template.
  • After second round round of DNA replication,4 DNA molecules formed. Among them 2 carries newly synthesized DNAs and each of the remaining 2 DNA carry one original template and one newly synthesized template.
  • After third round of replication, total 8 molecules of DNA formed. Among them 6 do not contain any part of original template
