Answer :-

Given :-

  • Initial velocity = 0 m/s
  • Final velocity = 2.8 m/s
  • Acceleration = 1.5 m/s²

To find :-

  • Time taken

Solution :-

  • u = 0 m/s
  • v = 2.8 m/s
  • a = 1.5 m/s²

Substituting the values in 1st equation of motion :-

\boxed{\rm v = u + at}

\rm 2.8 = 0 + 1.5t

\rm 2.8 = 1.5t

\rm t = \dfrac{2.8}{1.5}

\boxed{\rm t = 2} \: \sf( approx )

Hence, the time taken to reach velocity of 2.8 m/s is 2 seconds.
