A society collected ₹ 9216. it is found that each member contributed as many rupees as there were member in the society .find the no of number

From the question we can say that:-
Number of people = Number of rupees collected per person
Also, The Total number of rupees = Number of persons*Number of rupees collected per person.

So We know now that 9216 = (Number of persons)^2 = (Number of rupees collected per person)^2

So, Number of Persons = Number of rupees collected per person = √9216 
                                        = 96

Number of Persons = Number of rupees collected per person = 96
