Radius = Diameter÷2 = 42÷2=21 cm

Height = 2m = 200cm

Total surface area of cylinder = 2πrh + 2π(r)²

    ( On taking 2π as common)

                                                = 2π(rh+r²)

                                               = 2π (21×200 + 21²)

                                               = 2π ( 4641 )

                                                = 2 × 22/7 × 4641

                                                = 29172 cm ²

Cost of polishing 1 cm² = 25 paise = 25 / 100 = 1/4 rupees

∴ Cost of polishing 29172 cm² = 1/4 × 29172

                                                   = 7293 rupees
