A solid of specific heat capacity 2.1 J/kg°C at 100°C is dropped into 400 g of water at 25°C. If the final temperature is 40°C, find the mass of the solid.

      m *  2.1  * (100 - 40)  =  0.400 * 1000 *  (40 - 25)
           m =  4.7619 kg

Perhaps,  the specific heat is  2.1 kJ/kg/C , then mass will be 4.7619 grams
