Both salt and sugar can be soluble substance in water .Also droplets of lemon can be dissolved but the chalk powder will be settled down .

hey mate !!

a soluble substance in water from the given options is a) salt b) sugar and c) lemon drops also .

all option are right except d) chalk because chalk can't dissolve in water because its molecule are larger and harder enough to break down in contact of water and completely dissolve in water . it settled down on the bottom of hr container .
