A solution contain 100g of barium chloride in 400g of water calculate the concentration in term mass by mass percentage of the solution

Mass of solute = 100g

Mass of solvent = 400g

Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent

= 100+400

=500g

Mass percentage of solution

= Mass of solute / Mass of solution *100

=100/500*100

=20%
