30
mass of solution=mass of solute(salt) +mass of sovent(water)
                               =30+470
                                 =500
concentration of solution=mass of solute divide by mass of solution multiply by100
                                      =30/500 multiply by 100
                                        =6%

Concentration of solution is 6%.

Given - Mass of solute and solvent

Find - Concentration of solution

Solution - Concentration of solution = mass of solute/mass of solution*100

Mass of solution = Mass of solute + mass of solvent

Mass of solution = 30 + 470

Mass of solution = 500 gram

Concentration of solution =  \frac{30 \times 100}{500}

Performing multiplication and division

Concentration of solution= 6

Hence, the concentration of solution is 6%.
