A solution contains 36gm of copper sulphate in 264gm of water . Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution.

Mass of solute = 36g
Mass of solution = 36g + 264g = 300g

Mass by mass % = (Mass of solute / Mass of solution) × 100
= (36g / 400g) × 100
= 9 %

Solution is 9% concentrated by mass
