Mass of sugar = 15g

Mass of water = 60g

Solution = Solvent + Solute

15+60=75g

% of sugar =

\frac{15}{75} \times 100 = 20\%

% of water =

\frac{60}{75} \times 100 = 80\%

Hope it helps you

HEY Buddy.....!! here is ur answer

Given that : A solution is prepared by dissolving 15g of sugar and 60g of water then mass of the solution = 60+15 = 75g

Now, percentage of sugar in solution = 15×100/75

=> 20%

And percentage of water in solution = 60×100/75

=> 80%

I hope it will be helpful for you....!!
