Now, for calculating the number of moles for NaOH solution, the formula used is,

n =  \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{molecular \: weight}

Now, putting the values we get,

n =  \frac{4}{40}  = 0.1 \: moles

Thus, the molarity is,

molarity =  \frac{0.1}{0.2}  =0 .5

Hence, the molarity of the solution is 0.5 M
