Frequency of the sound wave = 1000Hz
Wavelength of the sound wave = 34cm
or, 34/100 m
Distance that the sound wave should travel= 1 km or , 1000m
Wave Velocity = Frequency × Wavelength
=> 1000 × 34/100 = 340 m/s
Since,
Distance = Velocity × Time
1000m = 340m/s × Time
Time = 1000/340
=> 2.94s
