A sound wave has a frequency 2000kz and wavelength 40cm how long it travel to 1.6km

Given:-

Frequency. = 2000kHz = 2000000Hz
Wave length = 40cm = 0.4m
Distance. =1.6km

Solution:-

We know velocity = frequency×wavelength

v = frequency × wavelength
=2000000×0.4
=800000m/s

We know,
Time = Distance/ Velocity
=1600/800000
=0.002 sec
