A spring balanve is used to find the weight of a body x on the surface of the moon. The mass of the body x is 2kg and its weight is recorded as 3.4 n. The weight of another body y recorded by the same balance is found to be 7.65n. Calculate tye mass ofvthe body y

In first case x has mass 2kg while weighs 3.4 n .

In second case7.65 is mass of body y.

After cross multiply we get

Mass of y=2×7.65/3.4=15.3/3.4 .

Therefore mass of y is absolute

15.3/3.4.
